ULTIMAT BALLISTIC SOLUTIONS SDN BHD (U.B.S.), was incorporated in June 2022. The Head Office is located at Ipoh | Malaysia. The founders were Mrs. Kartina Yaman and Mr. Mohd Nazri.
Mr. Max Engelander joined the company in September 2022 after he retired from the Royal Dutch Police. In February 2023, Mr. Per Sabbasen and Ms. Rebecca Chen to join the team. Early July 2023 we moved into our new factory location in Ipoh with increased production capacity and with the top-of-the-line production machineries.

With the appointment of Mr Max Engelander and Mr. Per Sabbasen as company directors, U.B.S. is poised to become leader in providing ballistic solutions worldwide. They both have long years of operational experience in the real military and law enforcement field. U.B.S. has a unique technical knowhow in putting our knowledge into our line of products.
The new management consist of:
Mr. Per Sabbasen – CEO
- 21 years of active service for the Norwegian Armed forces including years with SOF
- 7 years as instructor for Special Forces after he stopped his active duty
- 20 years as a Manager in a European manufacturing company of ballistic, riot and training solutions. Responsible for all R&D of ballistic constructions and designs during these years
Ms. Kartina Yaman – Finance Director
- CEO & Finance of Listera Corporation SDN BHD since 2009
- Founded U.B.S. in June 2022
Mr. Mohd Nazri – Factory & Sales Director of Southeast Asia
- Founder/Chairman of Listera Corporation SDN BHD. Founded U.B.S. in June 2022
- Specialized in foreign and domestic trade affairs
- Broad experience in Finance with high business acumen
Mr. Max Engelander – International Sales Director
- 45 years of active duty in the Dutch police Including many years of special service
- He has used body armours daily from standard vest to tactical solutions supplied by different manufacturing companies in Europe
- The first-hand user experience is now transferred into final products made by U.B.S.
Ms. Rebecca Chen – R&D Manager
- Worked with production of ballistic solutions since 2008
- Experience with all different ballistic materials for soft and hard solutions
- Knowledge about which machineries to be used for maximum capacity
Our focus is on high quality, up to date solutions, fast deliveries, and we will never compromise on safety. All solutions are certified according to international standards, we will never introduce a noncertified product for sale:
- NIJ 0101.04 and 0101.06 for soft and hard ballistic
- NIJ 0106.01 for ballistic helmets
- NIJ 01.08.01 for ballistic shields and visors
- Riot shields according to BS 7971-3 and the Italian standard
